The latest report uncovered data on the requests in two categories — user data and technical expertise — received during the second half of 2024. During the second half of 2024, Kaspersky received 49 requests from governments and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) from four countries. At least 24% of those were rejected due to an absence of data or to not meeting legal verification requirements. All the requests received during the second half of 2024 were for technical expertise.
At the same time, the number of user requests for details on what and where user data is stored and its provision or removal reached 502 in H2 2024.
